If your configuration on the insight requires 3 products, LEFT< RIGHT> MIDDLE then you need multilayer RX.
If your configuration only asks for one product, you don't need multi-layer rx. Savvy?
Many guys will build 2 planting configs, one as a multiple product for splitplanting refuge etc. and another as a single product config for simplicity and more accuracy when doing variety tracking on that big LEX.
