Southwestern Texas Panhandle | Last year I ran a Trimble EZ boom to control my sprayer. This year I'm going to use my tractor with a 2600 display and am wanting to install a John Deere rate controller. My dealer came out and said that it wouldn't work with my current setup on my sprayer. He basically said it was to old. It's a 2002 model, I don't believe they are putting much effort into it. It is all raven controls and was controlled with a Raven 400 before the EZ boom. I was able to just plug the EZ boom into the connector and go. I haven't seen the JD rate controller but the dealer was saying they need to cut wires and tie it in, but my rate controllers are wired in separately instead of together and they don't know how to make it work. Attached is a picture of my sprayer controls.
