We had an '82 JD 4840 with 20.8-38's, r-2's bought new with them. I recall about 5 yrs later they were getting like some banana's and went with Firestone R-2's, and they weren't available at that time, nor would we would have replaced with the BFG
The tractor had the 16.5-16.1's on the front and they were BFG also. Didn't last well.
