Didn't realize there was wheat that close that looked that bad.  We are still hanging by a thread here, got 1.5" of rain about 30 days ago, terrace tops are starting to turn blue, but if we don't get rain in the next 7 days our wheat will start looking like yours in  a hurry.  We had enough moisture last fall and this spring to get the wheat much bigger, big enough that its going to go south in a hurry when it runs out of moisture.
