| IH had already designed the transmission and cab. The cab is identical dimensionally to an 88 series cab. Took out a door and added a window. Front axle is the same used on the 88 series. When IH split, Navistar got the DT series engines, so Case put in the CDC engines, which they had already developed. So, you have a Case/Cummins engine, standard rear flow cooling, and pretty much everything else is IH. Our 7120 has IH stampings on the transmission housing. | |
