New Mexico | 2 to 3 years out should see protien product prices at levels that folks like farmers perhaps talk as astronomically high.
THANK GOD, the globe's consumers are not a bunch of whiney ars farmers. MO.
On food the new style "bearish" is simply LACK of a relative UP as compared to other products which do go UP.
Keep in mind...the newer style econ everywhere actually uses LESS of things like oil.
Reason is the global econ is more tech, pharma type based now than the past heavy manufacturing bases.
How much "focus" from energy use type industry / lifestyles, to better food, better health care, better TOTAL living type styles...perhaps remains to be seen ( looks to be thee trend though ).
Seems quite possible ( 2 to 3 years out ) for things like $8 corn, $220 cwt cash live finished cattle, $150 cwt cash live on the hoof hogs, say $18 to 20 wheat, $20 to $30 beans etc., etc..
