West-Central Missouri | I don't know about anyone else but i have got wheat in the tiller stage about Zadoks 22-23 (2-3 tillers and main stem, can not get N on , only N I have is 20 lb put on with Dap in fall I planted mostly Oct 25-Nov. 5 which is pretty late here. have planted Nov. 10-15 and got a better stand, I had around 19 - 25 main stems in fall, but more came under snow in jan. I hope to get the N on sometime early next week, ground is a bit wet, starting to show N loss. probably average about 50-60 stems/tillers per row ft. = 85 plants per square ft. Hope it works. If I had it to do over probably would put some N on in Feb. | |
