Be careful how loose you get the jakes. It would have to be really loose but the looser the adjustment, the longer delay you have in opening the exhaust valve giving the piston more time to travel up, so if it gets too loose you could bend a valve. Just something to think about while you are adjusting to the loose side of spec.
