Northern Idaho
Just some more info about the hillside combines in general. The 6602 (1971-79) 6622 (1980-1985) and 7722(1986-89) all leveled to 45%. The earlier models were made by JD but the 7722s were actually sent to Spokane, WA and rahco put the levelers on and they look more like the 1470/1670 CIH levelers. Rahco also made 9632 combines up until at least the year 2000 which leveled to 44%. All these levelers kept the wheels vertical and so no duals could not be used and diamond or "plus" tread tires were used for best traction. Now days hillco makes a 27% leveler and rahco makes a 35% leveler for all the sts combines but they do not keep the tires vertical like the older machines and it is a cheaper bolt on leveler. The JD sidehill combines only level to 18%.

A 6622 compared to a 6620 level land or sidehill has more horsepower, wider spacing between tires, and is taller off the ground to accommodate the full leveling.

Here are two pics of our 6622s and then some pics from the nearby john deere dealer taken this winter. That second dealer pic is a 7722 front shot.
