Texas | Earp, that is a tuff question. Ever followed a module truck to the gin? In West Texas, I think we can easily lose a hundred pounds of cotton from just the tarps beating on the module on a windy day. I remember seeing the first harvested with a picker with the round baler. In their staging spot their was made a hundred round modules. Across the road there was an area where tarped modules were sitting and other areas where modules have been picked up. Ever since that day I have wondered how much cotton we lose on the ground from the moment we finish building a module until it gets to the module feeder.
I think we would be surprised! | |
