What kind of spreader do you run haywardmarl, My problem is, if I get dry lime it all blows away, and if I get damp lime out of the pile at the rock quarry, my newleader20-20 lime spreader is always bridging up, plus it is a tandem truck that will go from the quarry to the field, but it won't get around the field without getting stuck 90% of the time, On the flip side it hard for me to justify hauling 25 ton with a belt trailer and dump it in the side of the field and then turn around and re load it onto a spreader truck when I can simply haul 12.5 ton with the actual lime truck. no reloading and dead spots required.

I am embarrassed to say I am having problems to figure out how to post photos on here. I have a 1968 FWD 6 wheel drive. 48 X 31:00x 20 tries on the read and 48 x 25:00 x 20 on the front. The price of these tires has gone up a lot recently. I can run 18;00 by 22.5 or 445 22.5 tires or I can even run the cement truck tires dual on the back.. makes the truck 11'6" wide though..

I can comfortably haul 15 ton loads. I have a New Leader 16' L-70 box 30" conveyor... it will even spread damp Turkey litter. I should sell the Truck as i am working on an Oshkosh now with a 65,000# tandem and much bigger radial tires.
