They are usually lower in interest rates. Getting a dividend check is nice too.
I've had 3 different loan officers over the last 20 years. There is a difference in loan officers and what they are willing to do for you. The one I have now is just great. He'll go along with just about anything I want to do. He's very encouraging through any rough spots and is willing to hang with you. I have had the other extreme where they were too conservative. Financial conditions have changed so maybe he was seeing things different. But the person you deal with makes a big difference. |
