| If your applicator is putting it deep enough and it is sealing decent I see no need for a 72 hour wait. There have been several times when we put it on with a chisel plow when it was dry enough we were worried about losing moisture so we had the field cultivator, bedder, and planter all running in the same field. Probably wasn't a 72 MINUTE wait after NH3 till it was planted. No problems.
On the other hand we have NH3 burn when strip till in early March wasn't working very well because it was too wet. That corn had a 3 week delay. But it was 180 units N right under the row in marginal conditions. Last year with C-Jet knives we strip tilled and planted right over it the same day with no problems. Good luck | |
