Most banks around here are not very interested in real estate (land) loans. FCS is probably your best option for conventional. Just checked last week. To buy about $5000 acre land in my area they will only finance about $2200 acre total. They arent going to feed land prices higher by financing larger percentages of purchase price. If you cant come up with a largedown FCS probably wont be the place to borrow. BILL
