Kingston,Mi | We have placed many old fuel tanks in containments and most have been set on a peastone base, then peastone banked up around the sides to prevent rolling. The reason for peastone ( may be a Michigan description of small, rounded natural gravels with out any fines) is the drainage thru the stone. Some of these sites are 15 years or older, at least one person who posts here is a partner on the farm where the first fertilizer containment in Tuscola County, Michigan was built as a demo.
