West-Central Missouri | I probably would be a bit careful about going 100% of my acres to either. I have no experience with avail. But was really impressed with what Nutrisphere was showing in the side by sides at a grower meeting in Jan. or Feb. 2 or 3 years ago so I went with Nutrisphere on the Urea on 100% of corn acres. Spread it on in about March. I don't remember for sure which year it was, but the corn went in really late, about May 20-30 . and corn did not really start using N until. Mid June. The main problem was that I had put all of my budgeted N on in March instead of topdressing later in spring, thinking that the Nutrsiphere would carry it thru. But Mid March to Mid June is 3 months, almost a full corn growing season. I have heard good trials in wheat though. And it may work fine. But the 2 things I learned is don't expect it to replace in season application, and try it out first before going on all the acres.BTW what is it going to cost / # of N for Nutrisphere, I think I paid $.05-$.07 per pound of Nitrogen for the Nutrisphere
Edit: Forgot to mention that the Nutrisphere did no good as far as I could tell. No trials to back it up as I used it on 100% of corn acres.
