Eastern Iowa | I would like to have the storage capacity to hold a semi tanker load for 28% UAN. I just happen to have a large steel tank about 24 feet long by 10 feet high. It was a horizontal above ground gasoline storage tank. It has been empty for a few years. It still appears to be in good shape. What legal and safety issues do I need to consider before using this tank? It is currently sitting on the ground, Would it need to be set in saddles like it was in its former life? I would only use this tank to hold about 5000 gallons at a time and only for about 60 days or less each year. Thanks. | |
