I see both sides of this...2 different perspectives....

Dealerships need to realize...

-This is 2011 and there are many viable ways to acquire what we need. Customers are more business/web savvy. If they cannot adapt their business mentality, Gen X and Gen Y customers will stray away from their services. Today it is about service, speed, time, and convenience. Clearly you are not satisfied and have not been for a period of time with this outlet.

Farmers need to realize...(whether right or wrong)
-Like others have said, there are new models from OEM's every 20 minutes it seems. They cannot stock everything; ROI and inventory depth/breadth will kill a dealership. This puts an equipment dealership in a very tough spot regarding balancing inventory load and overall service levels offered to their customer base.

You can treat anyone however you want, but remember...you may need them in the future for an emergency repair/fix/part....
