I spread lime for $5.00 per ton plus a travel fee. I get $6.50 per ton at 1 ton per acre. I spread 200-300 tons per day about 3 months per year.

I can make around $80.00 per hour spreading lime. At $6.00 per acre spreading Fertilizer ,,, Fertilizer dealers can make $300.00 per our spreading Potash. Stahley claims their floater trucks can cover 70 acres per hour.

Spreading lime is easy, but at $5.00 per ton I can't buy better equipment unless I get a spreader that can spread dry fertilizer too.
