I put down 50 lbs of N then phosphate as called for by soil sample I take every year. That goes on my good irrigated stuff. The dry land gets 20 lbs of N and 10 lbs of P or more if needed. It really depends on what the soil sample says. I like to get all my phosphate down with the plow if I can. Its usually not more than 50 lbs or so.
