Jon S , I sure agree, and without all of the information concerning the specific soils ?  this is why I suggested

Also, what form is this   $10. of Micros in.   Oxide or sulfate. Chelated ? This also would make a huge difference as to cost effectivness and Plant availablility.

I find it very hard to believe that  $10. worth of Micros in the starter will be of value. Just not enough Volume

to make a Yield diference. To the Farmer.

The 10 units of N will give the Best Bang for the Buck if soil P levels are adequate. 

The P applied will provide some of the lbs P for removal  replacement.
