Martinsville, Ohio | Hey that makes my day. I can't afford it all and I can't take it with me. Must be the teacher in me.
I wanted him to have the chance I never saw in 71, I wanted a farm so bad but so poor and poorly connected I just couldn't do it.
Good deeds? We all need them. There are some on here who put me to shame if you know what I mean.
We have to feed these really good young farmers any way we can. I will do anything I can for them but they are select few. I wasn't included in that amount and it made me mad and sad so I had to go work for the man for 31 years. They thought I couldn't do it so I just went and proved them all wrong. Now I am a teacher of teachers, greatest responsbility you will ever wear. I want no failure, 100% success, I know that is not attainable but you have to have a goal and select your offerings very carefully.
If you farm, it really helps if you have a home base. It took me all my life to get a decent home base so now I can help those young guys who really want and need to farm get theirs.
What else are we here for?
