No, it never allowed the "choice" of hard drives.

My C drive is for Win operating system stuff. It's a 75 gb solid state drive. My E drive is for "everything else". It's a 1 Tb hd.

I'll look into the Opera thing. Not familiar. Can you tell me what Opera Browser thing does?
