Why risk it?? For $3000 we have professional air lines designed for compressed air in the shop. Its aluminium tubing painted on the inside and out, metal fittings, and hangers. That is enough air line to go clear around our 70x85 shop and lines that go from the loop near the roof down 20 feet at 6 different areas in the shop. 1" loop, and 3/4" drops. That was shut off valves, all elbows, Ts and unions. Why even risk it?? My dad is pretty Scotch sometimes, but c'mon.
