Higher yield. This could be the surprise. Net result could be a bigger or just as big as a crop. Also remember this is the June 1 stox report as well. The above number most likley will not be the number put out at 7:30, however it may be the most realistic on actual acres that are raising a crop, not just planted

Everyone is so concerned about "planted" acres not yield In actuality, less acres but higher implied yield makes more sense (yes I know every of all the corn fields vs bean fields etc etc.) With the above number and 157 yield gives you more bushels than a 91.375 acres and a 150 yield. Remember to take of 9-9.5% abandonment of as well to get projected harvested crop.

It would be interesting to see some satalite imagry of the corn belt. Bet there are alot of holes out there.
