If you read #2, on this rod bolt spec page, it says the "rod numbers" SHOULD BE on the side with the bearing tabs(tangs) , IF that is correct, then the tangs/tabs/numbers should be on the oil cooler side.
The old 3406 engine "rule of thumb" was rod bearing tangs OPPOSITE the camshaft. (oil cooler is opposite the cam, too)=== ( bearing tangs on oil cooler side)
Putting the C15 back together...need some help
