roaming | would agree. Problem could be OS, app, proprietary UI, or hardware, or a combination of any of the above.
You could argue that Apple shines here because it controls all of the above, or you could argue that Android is more robust because it can be implemented on many different hardware platforms and thus it is up to the mfr to make sure it works appropriately on their hardware, with their UI, etc.
I would agree that HTC seems to have it figured out. Going on 6 months with an Incredible, and very few complaints. Certainly nothing that would push me to the iPhone. My wife's Droid2, on the other hand, was just replaced by VZ for another Droid2. Lots of nagging issues, but her sisters don't have the same issues, so I'm wondering if she just got a lemon. And that can happen to anyone (including Apple customers). | |
