SW Iowa | For me, age doesn't mean sheet. Honesty, courtious, Product knowlege, trade in values, follow up, just plain old salesmanship skills(name remembering, product interest, trade ins) mean more to me than how much grey hair and line of BS you have. You may have an advantage the old dogs don't and that is you havn't learned all their bad habits and lazyness ways attempting to qualify a prospect as a 'tire kicker' or a prospect worthy of you spending your time with. Believe it or not, all buyers start out as "tire kickers", so you'd better not sluff them off. Stay away from those old dogs, plow your own furrow in sales. Study, study, study and be sure to follow up with what you say you will do. Did I say Honesty?
Good luck! Now is probably not the best time to learn true sales skills with the market so hot.
