Redwood Falls, MN | I purchased a HP/Compaq tc4200 this spring. I still use my pocket PC more than this computer but it is much handier than my old laptop. I like being able to flip the screen around and lay it flat on my lap. I haven't used it for tracking machine work with trac/site mate but I have used it for mapping boundaries and tile lines. The reason I went with this computer is because you can order an outdoor viewable screen. It also has a smaller screen making it easier to take with you. There is no serial ports for GPS input so you need a USB to serial adapter. There is also no internal CD drive. Overall though I would buy this one again if I had to make a choice.
