Owings, Maryland 38.6856 N 76.6752 W | Couple of few months ago talking with a good friend from Illinois via the phone on the way home from work,, got to talking about a seed bag he had recovered during a cleanup project. The gentleman stated that I should construct a frame for this piece of history and we would put the seedbag in it, well I constructed the frame from oak, Mamma picked up the piece of glass and a little bit of fabric for the background....
Today the package arrived on the backporch,,, low and behold the seedbag was here. Did a little installation work and it is together.
The importance of this will come in a day or two. Since we built this humble abode about 5-6 years ago, we have driven no nails in the drywall to hang stuff, we have nothing hanging in this house which includes very few curtains, I would rather look at the wood work around the windows than cover it up. Well I am getting a nail in the wall to hang this project.....
In addition the same couple that sent the seedbag that I will treasure till the last day,, also sent a gift for our oldest daughter who is expecting later this year,,,, who they have never even met...
