I'm certainly no oil expert, ( or any other kind, either!), but if all the ratings on the Chevron are the same or better as the JD oil, I'd think you'd be good to go. I know that oil companies have local reps just like the chem co.'s do, a visit with your Chevron rep should ease your mind.
