If you use the live update tool to update the card it will update the setup data as well, and I agree with Scott about backing up, I always backup the RCD folder to my laptop before and after making any changes, I create a folder using "Customer/Date e.g. 030211/machine e.g 8520T", it takes a few minutes but at least then you can always go right back to a point in time
