Lac qui Parle County Minnesota | We recently bought two new ambulances (from life line). Ford pretty much owns the ambulance market. A chevy was almost $9000 more the last time we spec'ed one out. Freightline is used for the larger services in the big cities like New York where they want rigs that are easy to work on and will go 300000 miles. Not much for ride or comfort but they don't care. That was the ambulance manufacturers statement on comments they got NYC ambulance procurers.
Our rigs get abused, but get serviced on much shorter schedule than most vehicles.
