| That is exactly what i was talking about. Did you check around the circumferance of the alt at the rear of the unit. A lotof the ones i have seen have a rubber plug covering the hole where the regulator plug is. Most of the 1 wire units still have the same regulator connections as the 3 wire and should be able to wire it up just the same. Not sure but i may have covered it in the earlier post.
If you get the chance, check and see if the plug is there. If so, remove the plug and look for the 2 regulator terminals. In the meantime, i will do some more research to see if i can give you a better description of how to fix it.
