| Considering fuel costs, and looking at what used trucks cost, it would probably be cheaper to pull the radiator cap and drive a different truck under it. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. We have an 84 Kodiak with a 3208, non turbo'd, and that thing will get close to 10 MPG, and handles 500 bushels pretty good. For what you will spend to do much of a conversion, you could probably have a truck made for the power plant that's in it, and that will get better fuel economy than any gas engined truck. An FL 70 Freighliner with a 5.9 Cummins would be a pretty super little medium duty truck. | |
