SW Ontario | Well my experience with both these product is this:
A few years ago (10 or so) we used an old massey harris pony gas tractor inside a dairy barn to scrape it down everyday. We had always used Shell rotella in all our equipment. With this tractor there was always a huge amount of white sludge under the fill cap, and no doubt the rest of the engine do to humid enviroment and start/stop nature of the job. For some reason I tried some 50plus oil from deere and the motor was spotless from then on, cleaned up the gunk and kept it that way. I was impressed. | |
