This motor sounds like it's not in a farm truck...The spark should be fully advanced by 2700 rpms, therefore I don't see how the wieghts and springs would affect it unless they had been changed to affect the advance timing. Spark jumping from terminals and or wires can cause this but more likely is the pickup coil or sensor.........Harmonic balancer loose on crank or rubber mount ?
