Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | I bought a '96 4900, 466, 7 speed last summer and mounted an apron floor box on it for silage. Great truck, easy cab to jump in and out of, lots of torque for the "stop and go" driving, in a good day it does 40 2-4 mile round trips from field to silo and back. The synchronized trans is nice when you have multiple drivers without "real truck" experience. Sure beats the junk '88 Topkick it replaced, crawling in and out of that joke of a cab got old fast. |
