You said you used some 1/4 inch UHMW plastic and made your own.

What is UHMW ? Who carries this plastic?

The only plastic I can think of is the recycled plastic milk jugs. Is that UHMW?

A 4 x 10 sheet. So did you just rip it in two, to make a 2 ft x 20 ft long piece ?

I think that might work for my JD 920 flex head. Yes???

How do you hold the plastic on the bottom of the head? How many screws or rivets?

Were do you get such rivets if they are used?

I have a flex head and make it rigid for cutting milo sometimes. Can I switch it back and forth from rigid to flex?

Will this be possible with my "home made" skid plate?
