this is so true besure the driveline doesn't have play in it the rear ends seldom fail as we get the trucks in their final 100,000 miles of life and many problems have been taken care of previously however components can fail and fail they will at the most inopportune times if you don't have a qualified mechanic close to your place already on good relationship, it best you be findin one

we have also went to synthetic 90 in rears, hypoid type gearing
synthetic 50 in truck transmissions, 90 is too stiff here in winter
