Shelby, MT | I haven't heard that either....I always thought it was the actual spacing ie 7" spacing with more shovels in ground takes more hp than 12" spacing.....rubber vs steel is prob personal preference, apparently after reading post above, it must be according to areas too....here it is assumed that you can go earlier with steel than rubber tire, because the rubber tire will press the mud different and crust it easier than steel. You get to recap the steel after # of years if rock are present but you get to deal with flats etc with rubber... | |
