Subject: RE: Question for Axial-Flow combine owners

IL
We leave all the shields on our 2388 but I usually give it a blow job with the leaf blower everyday before servicing it.

It is obvious that two different engineers must have designed the shields on each side of the 23 series. Every shield on the left side is easy to remove and replace with most of them simply swinging out for access BUT almost every shield on the right side is a pain in the a$$ to take off and on especially that SOB on the spreader drive belt. I did take it off once but had cobs throw the belt off and put it back on.
