Think I found my own answer. Went and looked at the Neighbors 85c. Evidentally the previous owner of my tractor forgot to put back on the brace from the bottom left of alternator bracket to the water pump. The bolt holes are there, but no bracket. Neighbor says he is always replacing the little bolts (at the pump) in their bracket as they wiggle loose.
