NW IL | We have a Miller 2275 with the High Torque option. About 13 MPH in lst gear. It has a 1200 gal tank. It will go up almost anything loaded full speed in first gear. Factory reps told us that the 2275 vs the 2200 makes alot of difference. I think it was about $13000. more. Seems like alot for an electronic engine but I think the cooling system is also modified. We really like it. For rolling ground the boom in the front is a big adavantage on windy days. Even with a Norac. Had a sensor start acting up last week and it was nice to be able to see a problem right away. Front wheels are a little hard to see, however you can if you lean forward and look down. I usually just use the center nozzle which is below the pressure guage on the boom for a reference to stay in the rows. After a day or so you can anticipate how much to crowd one side or the other when going around curves. We really like it. | |
