I had the same problem with my MX275.
Dealer tried new cap that worked better for a short time but still came off hard.
(hard=1.5 turns both hands almost needed wrench)
Mechanic fixed it 2 weeks ago.
Service manager said he filed off some threads (burrs or thick parts) on the tank and new cap.
Works easy now.
