Yes there is a constant power pin and a good ground. The plug cover should show a (+) and a (-) on it to indicate those two. You would have to check the fuse rating to know how much amperage it would take, but I believe they are either 10 or 12 ga wires on ours. How much does the transfer pump list as drawing?
