The reason you don't think it is causing problems is because there is usually little proof. Most browser crashes just happen - and most people don't know what causes it. The last time I read something about this subject, I believe the stats say around 80% of crashes are caused by flash.

HTML5 is coming on strong. YouTube is in the process of converting to it as we speak. Even Microsoft has thrown their support behind it and is leaving the flash camp.

As for your last comment - if you re-read my post, I never made the claim that Apple was "better" - all I did was explain why Apple doesn't support flash.



I don't think it's causing problems, because my browser hardly ever crashes.

I like how you spin things, see, you read it that Microsoft is leaving flash, the way I read it is that there gonna support both, just like Android. I would rather have something that supports both formats vs only only one format.

You spin it that if Apple supports it, it MUST be good, and if they don't it MUST be crap. Maybe your not, but that's the way I read your post.
