Baldwin City, KS | My brother and I primarily raise rowcrops and hay for the square bale market. We have always had an older round baler for clean up work, but we're talking a 605 D Vermeer and a 5500 Heston. I've got the chance to pick up more hay ground and we are about ready to start buying some more cows. I want to buy a good used round baler somewhere in the 9-13K range. Net wrap would be a plus, but not a necessity. I'm leaning towards a 435 or 535 JD, but I'm plenty open to NH or Vermeer. I'm just not as familiar with them. I would appreciate some input on used round balers so that I can make a more informed decision when I go to buy one. Thanks in advance. | |
