northwest tennessee | I have a 99 250 SD gas burner with a 5 speed manual. When it is in 4 and 5 gears it will make a little rattling noise. It will only do it after it gets hot at about 40 miles or so and you have to listen for it. Not real loud but can hear it. It will only do it at higher rpms in those gears. What could this be. It has done it for a while but seem to be getting worse. It has 82000 miles on it. Has not pulled that much and is a 2 wheel drive. Thanks | |
