I agree on the Calmer "Chopper" rolls. Definitely worth a look. They are the same price as their "BT Crusher" rolls for those familiar with them. We just put new crusher rolls on our 893, was going to put the Choppers on but we were afraid that they chopped the stalks up too fine and the fields we bale for bedding would be a challenge to get the bales to hold together. They say that they don't take any extra power.
